ImaginAsian TV to Launch ImaginAsian Home Video Label With Central Park Media

Leading Japanese animation distributor Central Park Media Corporation (CPM) is proud to announce that ImaginAsian TV, America’s first 24/7 Asian American network ‘for all things Asian,’ has chosen CPM as its partner in launching the ImaginAsian Home Video label in North America. CPM will provide sales, warehousing and physical logistics services to ImaginAsian Home Video. CPM will use the wholesale and retail accounts which CPM has developed during more than fifteen years of spearheading the marketing of Japanese anime and other Asian-themed programming in the U.S. and Canada.

Michael Hong, CEO of ImaginAsian Entertainment Inc., ImaginAsian TV’s multimedia parent company, said, “We chose to work with Central Park Media because of their well-acknowledged leadership in the anime and Asian home video arena. With their seasoned staff and marketing expertise, we can better reach the largest potential market for our programming.”

“We are tremendously excited about the opportunity to distribute ImaginAsian’s home video line in North America,’ said CPM Managing Director John O’Donnell. ‘ImaginAsian has the best programming available from Asia, and their U.S. target audience represents more than 14 million consumers, so we expect a wonderful reception in the marketplace.”

David Chu, ImaginAsian’s Senior Vice President of Programming and Production, added, “Both CPM and ImaginAsian Home Video will work together to bring the best and most highly coveted Asian titles to both the Asian American and burgeoning mainstream home video audience. We will be releasing an array of top-notch feature film and television drama series titles, in addition to our own original productions, for release throughout North America.’

ImaginAsian Home Video will announce its initial release schedule at NAVD and will appear at the VSDA with a complete roll-out campaign.
