Review
The Breakdown
Truly a classic, now Manga, how about bringing on the series!
» The Pros
Although this is just a continuation of the series, GS Mikami is one of the best old school comedy and action Anime.
Although the animation is up to date, but the things that happens in the Anime fills those flaws up. Its hard to find a likable Anime these days, especially old school animation types. More and more people is preferring higher quality animation in Anime.
Anyways, Manga has really earned my money. Most of the things they put out aren’t very good to me. Only if they had the license to the whole series of GS Mikami; Damn, I look forward to that day.
The action isn’t bad at all, the animation for the spells and the fight scenes Mikami is in. I can’t really say GS Mikami is perfect, because not everyone thinks like I do, but I really liked this movie, and I hope you pick it up too.

» The Cons
Probably the old school animation, but sometimes its good to revisit the old days, I’m pretty much fed up and sick with the new animations these days, as fourfour44 would say, I’d prefer anime that features computers in anime than anime that’s done by computers. Other cons are probably the Japanese mono audio, why couldn’t they make it stereo, is GS Mikami really that old school? Anyways, the mono didn’t use my speakers to their full potentials, that’s probably one of the things I can really complain about in GS Mikami.

» Animation
7.5 |
in the year of 2002, looking back at Anime from 1994, there’s a big difference in styles. Animation for GS Mikami is not really old, it fits the Anime very well. |

» Sound

How come this DVD came with Mono? Although on the Manga site it says stereo, but once you put on the Japanese language, you’ll know if its really stereo or mono. |

» Story

If I look back at the series then there would be a story, but seeing that this is just a movie and all, there really isn’t much to say, just that good vs. bad and good wins at the end. |
