AnimeNation’s Import Books And CDs Are Gone.

» News, Industry, Sales | posted by Wai Yung (Wayne) Chim on 07/24/2009 [Discuss]

From the newsletter that I have just received. AnimeNation announced, “Well, after importing literally tons of cool stuff from Japan for over a decade, we’ve finally decided to call it quits on direct-from-Japan books and CDs. Due to changing consumer trends, economic downturns, yen conversion, online downloads, etc etc etc., it’s time to move on. Like many of our import customers, we’re sorry to see it go too. The good news is, this means that in-stock import items are being marked down 10-50% and more! Take advantage of some great pricing while supplies last!”
